佛罗里达国际大学简介

佛罗里达国际大学位于迈阿密市。该校建于1965年，是佛罗里达州的11所公立大学之一，现有36，000余名学生，是南佛罗里达最大的大学之一。该校下设19个学院，涵盖学科200余个，95％的教师拥有博士或博士以上的学位，教学质量优异，本科教育尤为突出。学校在注重教学质量的同时也非常注重研究的发展，在卡内基基金会的博士教育及研究类大学教学进步的评比中，该校取得优异成绩。该校的会计学院是全美最大的会计学院之一，《美国新闻与世界报道》的专业排名中，该校的国际商务专业名列全美第7，商学院名列全美商学院的25，酒店及旅游管理学院名列全美第6。

城市简介

迈阿密位于佛罗里达半岛东海岸南端，迈阿密运河的入海口，东濒比斯坎湾，西界埃弗格莱兹大沼泽地。市区面积88平方公里，大市区包括迈阿密滩和周围28个城镇，向北几与相距80公里的棕搁滩连为一体，合计面积6237平方公里。迈阿密为亚热带气候，为美国本土冬季最温暖的城市。1月平均气温19.5℃，7月平均气温28.3℃，年平均降水量1290毫米。
